Beverly Jean (Fissel) Sutherland, 51, of Fishers, IN passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010 while in the company of her family after a courageous and spirited battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in Harrisburg, PA on May 11, 1958, the daughter of the late Paul W. and Lucille (Frazer) Fissel. Bev was a 1977 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School in New Cumberland, PA.Bev is survived by her husband of 30 years, Robert C. Sutherland; twin sons, Geoffrey C. (Sarah) Sutherland and John D. Sutherland; a sister, Mary (Bud) Swartz; and a brother, Bob Fissel.Visitation will be Friday, April 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Christ the Savior Lutheran Church, Fishers, IN where she was a member. Additional visitation will be Saturday, April 3 from 10 to 11 a.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Libby Manning officiating, assisted by Reverend Joseph Freeman. Graveside Services will be held at Rolling Green Cemetery New Cumberland , PA on Tuesday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m.The family request donations be made to Christ the Savior Lutheran Church, Youth Music Program or The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
